Who I am
I established Oliver Mansfield Coaching after years of working as a physiology specialist. My clientele were leaders of industry, executives, sports professionals, parents and children. I got to see first hand that the complexity and demands of all these roles took their toll on many. In-turn this was having an impact on their results, performance, teams/families and enjoyment of life.
Studying a multitude of education and disciplines, I was hungry to understand why certain behaviours, perceptions and stressors were unable to shift. Linking neurology, executive coaching and mentoring, hormonal pathways, laboratory testing, behavioural and subtractive psychology, eastern philosophy and my past knowledge in physiology I began to direct myself and clients to experience clarity of mind, improved effectiveness and productivity in all that we do.
Using the dance of coaching and mentoring, I am able to guide leaders, teams, adults and young people to a place of personal and professional success. They in-turn can lead others and help create a growing community of inspired minds.

We all experience challenges in life, personally and professionally. Watching our family business burn down to arson when I was 16 years old and having a life threatening blood clot at 24 are just two of many events of uncertainty experienced in my life. Learning how to let go, understanding where my experience is coming from and attaching an empowering meaning to even the toughest of circumstances, changes everything.
My Purpose
To help create the conditions that make it easy for clients to have the insights and realisations that are going to make a profound and lasting difference in their lives.

To guide all who I work with to a place where they understand that the noise in their head is not who they really are. That their resilience is innate within themselves and they already have all they need.

Sharing this clarity and knowledge allows clients to reach their full potential and shape their personal and professional needs accordingly.

To calibrate and connect with all those I work with. Connection is of the upmost importance to me, so we can be honest, true and progressive.

My Values
My values are my personal navigation system. Success is enjoying who I am, what I do and how I do it.

Contribution...
I have organised and lead numerous endurance charity challenges, making over £150,000 for Newlife - The charity for disabled children. These experiences have giving me the insight that contributing is more rewarding than receiving. When you are in a state of gratitude and can contribute in some way, you can not be sad and depressed at the same time.

'Life is not accumulation, Its about contribution.'
Stephen R. Covey

Love/Connection...
My family and friends are my world. Being kind to your self is as important as being kind to others. To be compassionate and caring is something we should all participate in. Connection creates success. Leadership and connection go hand in hand.

'Collect moments, not things'
Paulo Coelho

Courage and Strength...
I will be direct when needed. I will be honest and vulnerable when needed. Building your emotional muscles is no different to building your physical muscles. Most people wait for confidence before taking action. It doesn't work like this. Asking for help is the bravest of requests.

COURAGE = CONFIDENCE

Growth...
Never stop growing mentally, emotionally or physically. All my challenges in life have been an opportunity to grow, once I saw the challenge for what it really was and not what I thought it was. Entrepreneurs, directors, leaders, parents, adults and children all need to grow.

GROWTH/PROGRESS = HAPPINESS

Embracing Uncertainty...
Life is uncertain. The more we try and control things which are out of our control, the more pain and discomfort we will experience.
Adversity creates new perspectives, different priorities and a deeper appreciation for life. Most importantly, adversity can allow us to trust that we can handle this disordered, uncertain world.
Resilience is innate within all of us.
'Passion is created in the realm of uncertainty.'
Anthony Robbins

Action...
This creates inspiration. Have you ever waited for inspiration.....and nothing of interest came. By taking action, just 1 small action can change everything. It changes your physiology, focus and interrupts any pattern which wasn't serving you.
Confidence is not a personality trait. Confidence is driven by action.

Albert Einstein once said, “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results"

Peace...
I take time to be quiet and still. Shake a snow globe and snow fills the glass dome. When the snow globe is sat down, the flakes settle and the dome becomes clear. The snow flakes represent our thoughts. Thoughts are natural but can muddle our view, contaminate our thinking and impact our experience of life negatively.
Is that thought really true?....
Giving time for clarity whilst engulfed in the information world we live in, benefits our whole experience of life. All leaders needs clarity of mind. All leaders need to be able to hear.

'The quieter you become, the more you will be able to hear.'
